INTERACTIVE INSTALLATION @ SHELTER AMSTERDAM FOR CINEDANS FESTIVAL 2018

When the participant places themselves on the plateau, the ballet dancer switches from a resting state to en pointe, performing and having eye contact with the participant. The ballet dancer will stop when the participant gets off the plateau.

If the participant keeps standing for a prolonged time, the dancer will visibly struggle more and will eventually collapse by herself. When it ends, the dancer will catch her breath and the next dancer will appear.
